If you're experiencing login issues upon loginning into Plesk on your Windows server, try following the below steps to fix the permission issues:
1. Login to your server via RDP and go to Windows\system32\cmd.exe
2. Right click cmd.exe and go to Properties, click the Security tab
3. Make sure the following are set as permissions:
Administrator --> Full Control
System --> Full Control
Interactive and Service --> Read & Execute / Read both enabled.
Also make sure that file owner is administrator, otherwise you can not change these permissions. File owner you can check on file Properties > Security tab > Advanced button > Owner tab.
This can also be applied if the Webmail window does not open up properly.
Don't forget to restart Plesk in Windows!
Even though I only have a shared hosting plan, their technical support team responded to my tech support request within the hour, and correctly to boot. (I needed to have a subdomain point to a Tumblr blog by changing the CNAME.)
I recently switched to AYK Solutions from Softlayer for my dedicated server requirements. I received a much better specification server at significantly reduced cost from what Softlayer could offer me, with many of the previously 'extra' features at Softlayer included in the base price offered by AYK. The support was second to none, and they were extremely helpful in transferring all of my old server accounts over for no additional fee whatsoever.
I have been with ayksolutions for around 5 years and have been thoroughly impressed with them. All support tickets are answered within minutes, regardless of the time of day. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the support and services they provide. They are constantly doing crazy deals for servers as well. If you're looking for someone good and reliable to host with, from shared hosting to dedicated servers, I easily recommend ayksolutions.
