I noticed that there was a commercial IP Deny Manager as well as an IP Blocker that was based off the Hotlink blocker (that unfortunately had a limit of 1 IP Address), so I decided I'd make a free one of my own from the ground up as I've been wanting to learn how to use the Plugin System anyways. This, like the others, simply adds onto your .htaccess file. It has beginning and ending comment tags that it uses, so it should be safe with anything else you have in there. Tell me if any problems come up. I think I worked out all the bugs, but you never know.
Version 1.8:
- Changed a few things to make the script backwards compatible with PHP4
- Made it display errors if the .htaccess isn't writeable or if the entries were incorrect
- Added the ability to block blocks of IPs ("192.168." to block all IPs from 192.168.###.###) as well as domain names (for blocking ISPs and such)
- Removed the check for invalid IPs. Now it only checks that the entry is at least 5 characters long. Be careful.

Ayksolutions Customer Reviews Prompt, professional, efficient. I am currently using a shared account and plan on upgrading to a dedicated server...eventually when traffic picks up. The Ayk team is quick to reply to any concerns and does the best they can to correct the situation. I strongly recommend them for hosting.
AYK Solutions has been the server for my website for 8 or 9 years, and in all that time I have gotten nothing but expeditious, professional, friendly, and excellent service from them. I am being honest about this. They have my highest recommendations.
I recently switched to AYK Solutions from Softlayer for my dedicated server requirements. I received a much better specification server at significantly reduced cost from what Softlayer could offer me, with many of the previously 'extra' features at Softlayer included in the base price offered by AYK. The support was second to none, and they were extremely helpful in transferring all of my old server accounts over for no additional fee whatsoever.
