If you are getting good wget speeds but very slow scp/rsync speeds when uploading/downloading files, try running the following commands to modify your sysctl.conf file. Just be sure to back it up first:

Even though I only have a shared hosting plan, their technical support team responded to my tech support request within the hour, and correctly to boot. (I needed to have a subdomain point to a Tumblr blog by changing the CNAME.)
Thanks for the fast sollution, it was my fault since my original e-mail got somehow bugged and I didn't got the invoice mails.
